President of Club Med (since December 2002)

 

Born in 1956, Henri Giscard d’Estaing is a graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies and has a master’s degree in Economic Sciences.

 

Henri Giscard d’Estaing began his career at the Cofremca, from 1982 to 1987, were he was a Partner specialized in the study of food consumption changes. Henri Giscard d’Estaing joined Danone Group; he has been Development Manager, CEO of the British subsidiary HP Food Lea and Perrins, CEO of Evian-Badoit and Director of the Mineral waters division.

As from 1997, Henri Giscard d’Estaing was in Club Méditerranée, Vice President in charge of Finance, Development and International relations, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager. Since December 2002, he is the President of Club Med.

 

Henri Giscard d’Estaing is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Casino Group (a long-standing player in the French retail market,) and Randstad Holding Supervisory Board (multinational human resource consulting firm).
